What’s happening with Young Tiger NTR’s latest movie ‘Rabhasa’ that is waiting for a release from a time? Music director Thaman confirmed the other day about wrapping up of re-recording and that made the flick ready for Censor certification. But with no word from producer Bellamkonda Suresh about the release date, except the confirmation that the flick will be made available in theatres by August, there is lot of vagueness.

Buzz in Film Nagar has brought it to light that Rabhasa is facing severe financial crunch due to some hasty decisions taken by producer Bellamkonda Suresh. Dilemma started once the producer’s previous release Alludu Seenu failed to recover the full pledged investment from box office for distributors. Maybe Bellamkonda should have cleared the arrears and rolled out red carpet for NTR’s movie, but he has rushed to Boyapati Seenu regarding his son’s second movie. After paying 5 crores advance to Legend director, he is left with no option except making distributors wait. This fund crisis has finally led to a situation where distributors are asking for ‘Vitamin M’ to release Rabhasa on time. That is said to be taking toll on August 29 release date.

Noticing Rabhasa’s struggles to hit theatres on 29th, Naga Chaitanya has fashioned a clever move by advancing his flick from Sep 5 to 29. This move is adding more fuel to the fire that Rabhasa is postponed indefinitely once again. We have to wait for Bellamkonda’s word about these happenings before commenting any further.
