It’s raining Thaman’s music on the fields of Tollywood, in this month of big-budgeted star studded entertainers hitting theatres in a row. Including Rabhasa and Power, yet to be launched music of Aagadu also came from this young composer’s stable only. But is he meeting the expectations of fans?

Melodious tunes, mood uplifting string-work and energetic percussions are always Thaman’s strength. His albums like Kick, Mirapakay and Dookudu have won patron of music lovers due to quality compositions. Of late, Thaman’s compositions are however turning repetitive with no new rhetoric and lack of inattentiveness is making all his sounds and songs sound similar. For the same reason, only one song from an album of five is turning a chartbuster. In Rabhasa and Power, songs sung by NTR and Raviteja are instant hits while others are neither catchy nor slow poison.

Looking at this, we wonder what Thaman has done with Mahesh Babu’s ‘Aagadu’, for which he composed five songs in a span of nearly a year and half. One hit-song per album is not a parameter and not enough to feed hunger of music lovers. What say Thaman?
