Producer Bellamkonda Suresh is all smiles as his son Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ debut film Alludu Seenu is faring well at the ticket windows. Suresh said that his son has made him ‘proud’ by raking in ‘Rs 40 Crore’ with his maiden film alone.
Suresh shared, ‘I’m glad that Alludu Seenu turned out to be successful. VV Vinayak has put in great efforts in the film as if he was launching his own brother. Though the movie was made with a little high budget, I was never worried as I’ve no qualms in establishing my son’s film. As long as the budget was in tune with the story, I’m fine with it. We have not wasted money but used it for right purposes as per the requirement of script.’
Expressing his dream, Suresh added, ‘I always wished to make a Dhoom-like film in Telugu with my son. I’ll make sure there are chasing scenes between a cop and thief. It’s my dream to make such film and I’m hopeful that it will be a reality sooner.’ Suresh meanwhile, confirmed that Boyapati Sreenu is going to direct Sreenivas’ next film and it will be formally launched on August 27. Amid reports that Shruti Haasan would be pairing up with Sreenivas’, Suresh clarified, ‘Heroine is not yet confirmed.’
