Never in the history of any Samikyandhra movement, Jai Andhra movement or Telangana movement, got a MLA, MP or Minister who submitted resignation to his post approved. But TDP Rajyasabha MP and Nandamuri hero, Hari Krishna submitted his resignation early in the morning today protesting the Congress party’s decision of bifurcating state and expressing his solidarity with Seemandhra agitators who are fighting for Samaikyandhra. Rajyasabha Deputy Chairman PJ Kurien informed that the Chairman accepted Hari Krishna’s resignation with immediate effect.

Reacting on the same, TDP MLC Babu Rajendraprasad disposed it off as Hari Krishna’s personal decision and refused to comment on it until party decides what to do with the legendary NTR’s son. Hari Krishna however says, ‘NTR stood for united Andhra Pradesh, but Congress killed that Telugu spirit’, for which he is unable to continue in the post suppressing his conscience.

On the flip side, other TDP Seemandhra MPs who are advocating ‘Save Andhrapradesh’ from the day since monsoon sessions of Parliament started, are also considering the option of tendering resignations to MP posts.
