Union minister of state for Tourism, Chiranjeevi was the special attraction at the World Tourism meet on Saturday.

A special dinner and entertainment was organized for the foreign delegates at the Shilparamam. Disciples of Padmaja Reddy performed classical dance, while other folk forms like Chindu, Yaksha Ganam, Thappeta and others attracted the audience. When students of the Bhimavaram college performed feats with skipping ropes, Chiranjeevi went on to the stage at the request of the students and danced for a while with them. All those present, including the foreign delegates were enthralled at Chiranjeevi enthusing the artistes by joining them.

Speaking later, Chiranjeevi said it was laudable that young girls and boys were also showing interest in traditional arts apart from education. Several ministers also participated in the programme.
