Naidu held a teleconference from Guntur where he is continuing his ‘Vastunnaa Meekosam’ pada yatra, with constituency in charges, MPs, MLAs, MLCs and other leaders on Tuesday. He has congratulated party leaders who worked for the victory of TDP in the cooperative elections. He said despite the government creating hurdles right from member enrolment to elections, he said the party proved its mettle. He has expressed his satisfaction over completing 2000 km in his walkathon of 132 days. Stating that only TDP could give an efficient and corruption-free governance, he said party ranks should take this message into the people. He also asked them to re-launch the ‘Palle Palleku’ programme from February 15, to take the message of the party to every village.
Naidu also asked party men to work for the victory of MLC candidates from the graduates constituency, Chigurupati Vara Prasad, Kasumilli Venkata Suryanarayana Rao (Chinababu) and Chandrasekhar. He also directed them to the public hearings of discoms on February 19, 21, 23 and 25 in Vijayawada, Visakha, Warangal and Hyderabad and protest against power charges hike to the tune of over Rs. 12,000 crore.
