Reports are doing the rounds that union minister and AICC general secretary in-charge of AP affairs, Ghulam Nabi Azad had warned union minister Chiranjeevi who has been making foreign trips with family members, reportedly spending public money rather very lavishly.
There has been discussion about the way Chiru has been spending public money. There was already a petition that he gave too much money to a star hotel for hosting world tourism conference. When he went to Cannes in his official capacity with his wife, son Ram Charan and daughter-in-law Upasana and there from to the TANA conference in USA, there was discussion on whether he took his family members with government money or his personal.

However, he earned a bad name as he has taken his family members for his foreign trips. Chiranjeevi’s close associate and endowments minister C Ramachandraiah has been frequently stating that he was made of Chief Minister material. This has been causing quite an embarrassment to the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy. He too complained to the High Command about the over enthusiasm of Ramachandraiah.

It is in this context that Azad reportedly warned Chiranjeevi to be careful about what he talks and how he handles the Tourism ministry.
