In what is seen as unprecedented and unfortunate, the shooting of a Telugu film has been disrupted by a group of people in Kerala. According to unit, a bunch of miscreants who claimed as supporters of local RSS activists in Kerala, attacked the shoot of Sundeep Kishan’s upcoming film Ra Ra Krishnayya on Friday when the shooting was taking place in a temple nearby Alleppy, Kerala.

Sundeep posted on his micro-blogging page twitter, “We were shooting a temple scene(with official permissions)..what kind of welcome is the state of Kerala giving us. Some of the kerala local actors were beaten up saying why they were acting in a telugu film..this is the kind of respect the state is giving.”

He further posted, “Regina and I were immediately whisked away..my dir was attacked..what about the safety of the crew..horrible. Not trying to generalize bt no human being has the right to physically abuse any human being ever..Esp stating being a non local as a reason.”

Sundeep clarified, “I m not one to lose my temper easily..my manager is a 57yr old who got beaten up & my dir was attacked. And all this in a temple. The 1st thing they said before they hit my manager is U r a Muslim, who the hell r u to get permission in the temple to shoot. just depressing to know that such a thought doesn cease to exist even in 2013.”

Starring Regina in the female lead, the youthful romance is directed by debutante Mahesh.
